About Us
FI.L.S.E., together with its subsidiary companies – is the technical entity that provides support to the Regione Liguria as well as other regional entities in defining, planning and implementing the policies that back Liguria’s economic system.
As an in-house company of the Regione Liguria, its actions fall within the region’s economic domain, crafted to focus on strengthening businesses, supporting the structural growth of the production system as well as regional developement.
The FI.L.S.E. Group is the primary reference point for the regional government as well as local entities, businesses and citizens. In particular, it supports a wide range of activities with the adequate amount of financial, planning and organizational resources. These activities include entrepreneurial iniciatives, innovation, the technological tranfer and ideation of new businesess, the realization of strategic infrastructure as well as urban and environmental re-developement interventions. Moreover, due to its ability of managing special funds, it answers to specific citizens’ needs and promoting the social economy.
FI.L.S.E. acts as the “Holding Company” in a web of specialized companies that are both organized and coordinated by specific regional directives. It’s an integrated system that offers a multitude of tools such as: Liguria Ricerche based on statistical research on the regional economy, supporting economic planning; LigurCapital allowing companies to participate in the business capital for SMEs; Liguria International directed towards the phenomenon of internationalization and marketing; lastly, IRE, a company for the developement of new infrastructures, strategic practices and energy policies.
It covers a highly diversified field, but with the final objective to reach the main purpose: “Providing support for a growing Liguria”.
